Republic of Macedonia is an independent state on
the Balkan Peninsula, in south-eastern part of Europe.
Until 1991, Macedonia was a part of SFR Yugoslavia,
when it peacefully seceded and created its own
country.
There is parliamentary democracy in Macedonia. The local government
functions are divided between 123 municipalities. This
is a mountainous country with lot of valleys. There
are also three big lakes and many rivers (the bigger
is Vardar).
Macedonia is one of the most beautiful places at the planet. Look the
